We carry several bulb options in our string lights. The bulb option really comes down to personal
preference, but we'd like to cover all bulb options and the differences between
them.
Unlike retrofit bulbs, each of the string light bulbs
contains one LED chip.
5MM - Our 5mm bulb is a conical lens which emits the
light outward to the sides. It is the
smallest bulb we carry.
M5 - The next larger size is the M5. This bulb is comparable to an incandescent
mini light. The lens is faceted to
project the light emitted from the LED chip.
C6 - Also called a "Strawberry Lens", the C6 is as
bright as an M5, but more conical-like, offering stronger glow. The C6 is
faceted. Measures approximately 1 1/4" tall and 1/2" in diameter at the widest point.
G12 - Slightly larger than a C6 and globe-shaped. Faceted lens, measures approximately 1/2" in
diameter at the widest point.
C7 - Also called a "Strawberry Lens". Faceted lens, measures approximately 1 1/2" tall and 1" in diameter at the widest point.
C9 - Also called a "Strawberry Lens", largest bulb on a
string. Faceted lens, measures
approximately 2 1/4" tall and 1 1/4" in diameter at the widest point.
