Net lights are a wonderful way of decorating odd areas, particularly the ones outside your home like bushes, shrubbery, and other types of greenery. There is no hassle or work involved at all with them. Simply toss them over the area you want to decorate and plug them in. It really is that simple. There are different bulb kinds and different cord colors, depending on your needs.
Green wire net lights are by far the most common. Most of the places you would use them on are green, so the green wire blends in perfectly. This allows for the lights to take center stage and not the wire. For most tree trunks, brown wire net lights are your best bet. Just wrap them sideways around the trunk of the tree and presto! And for unique displays, particularly winter or snow themed ones, white wire is the best choice.
Net lights are also available in both incandescent and LED varieties. The incandescent are terrific for a traditional look and best used for smaller, temporary projects. For any large, long term project, LEDs work better because they last longer and you can connect a lot more sets together on one plug than you could with incandescent lighting.
