Sitting by the pool, or feet in the sand, who isn’t
looking forward to Summer? What’s better
in the scorching heat of Summer than frozen drinks? We found some tasty drinks (kid friendly) to
help put you in a Summer sort of mind!
When you think of summer drinks, iced tea and lemonade
have to be in the top of your preferences!
This first drink combines the two for a fabulous frozen twist…
Frozen
Summer Slush
INGREDIENTS:

2 cups white sugar 7 cups water 4 tea bags 2 cups boiling water |
1 (12 fluid ounce)
can frozen lemonade concentrate 1 (12 fluid ounce)
can frozen orange juice concentrate 2 cups gin |
DIRECTIONS:

Put 7 cups water in
large saucepan, and heat on high until boiling. Add sugar and stir until
dissolved; set aside to cool. Place teabags in 2 cups boiling water, and let
steep until desired strength is acquired. |

In a large bowl, mix
together sugar water, tea, lemonade concentrate and orange juice concentrate.
Stir in gin. Place in freezer container and freeze overnight. |

To serve, Place
several scoops into a tall glass, and fill with any clear carbonated
beverage. |
A cool frothy drink always helps take the edge off while
you’re working hard on your tan. Nothing
says frothy like a frozen latte…
Frozen Caramel Latte
INGREDIENTS:

3 fluid ounces brewed espresso 1 tablespoon caramel sauce 2 tablespoons white sugar |
3/4 cup milk 1 1/2 cups ice cubes 2 tablespoons whipped cream |
DIRECTIONS:

1. |
Place the espresso,
caramel sauce, and sugar into a blender pitcher. Blend on high until the
caramel and sugar dissolve into the espresso. Pour in the milk and add the
ice; continue blending until smooth and frothy. Top with whipped cream to
serve. |
Kids love popsicles but hate to eat their fruits and
vegetables, so we found a fabulous popsicle recipe that uses real
blueberries. They’ll never even realize
it’s healthy!!
Frozen Blueberry Yogurt Pops
INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Ocean Spray®
Blueberry Juice Cocktail 1 cup Ocean Spray®
Fresh Blueberries, cleaned and rinsed |
1 (6 ounce)
container fat-free vanilla yogurt 8 wooden craft sticks |
DIRECTIONS:

1. |
Combine all
ingredients in blender. Cover; blend on high speed 15 to 20 seconds or until
smooth. |

2. |
Pour into 8 frozen
pop molds (2.5 ounces to 3 ounces each). Cover, insert craft sticks, and
freeze for 2 hours or until completely firm. |

3. |
To serve, dip
outsides of molds into warm water to loosen. |
