Easter is a wonderful holiday for decorating! Eggs, bunnies, and pastels all scream Spring
– and Spring does bring a freshness with it.
There are so many ways to decorate for Easter, but one thing we pride
ourselves on is the ability to help you think outside the box! Try one (or more) of these wonderful ideas to
hop into your Easter!!
Ornaments look wonderful
hanging on your tree, but turning them into centerpieces gives them all new
life. Simply choose the glass container
that suits your style. Choose your
ornaments – might I suggest pastel colored to appropriately match the Easter
theme. You could add some pure white battery
operated lights to add some sparkle to your ornaments if you like. Throw in some Easter grass for depth, and
place your centerpiece on any table. You
can make several and place them all around the house. If you choose to make multiples, you could
make each one a different color.
Make yourself an Easter
wreath to welcome your guests at the front door! Your local craft store or dollar store should
have some small, plastic eggs, chicks, and flowers. Get creative and use these Easter classics to
spruce up your old Christmas wreath.
Throw a beautiful bow on top and hang on the door or over the mantle!
Another idea for those
ornaments is creating a bouquet. Glue each ornament to a small dow rod (you can
have these cut to your desired length).
Bundle a few or a lot to create your desired look, and tie a ribbon bow
around the ‘stems’. You can use some
baby’s breath and/or fake greenery to add some depth. For the vase, Gatorade bottles or aluminum
cans covered in pastel scrapbook paper.
These would look great on any table in your home and add that Spring
touch.
