Bulk ornaments were the most wonderful addition we have
made to our product line in ten years!
This year, we wanted to expand your options on bulk ornament sizes. You now have seven different sizes to choose
from – 60mm, 70mm, 80mm, 100mm, 120mm, 140mm, 200mm, and 250mm! This year, we added a burgundy color option
to go along with the already present aqua, black, blue, brown, copper, gold,
green, lime, orange, pink, purple, red, sage, silver, and white choices from last year.
Bulk ornaments were the obvious option for several
reasons, the main reason being that they come in quantities of 12, so you can
create more depth with multiple colors without breaking the bank. Another major reason we shifted to only bulk
ornament options is the wire. Each
ornament has a separate wire to attach that makes securing the ornaments to
wreaths, trees, guide wire, and a multitude of other objects, so much
easier! We wanted to make sure that our
products were not only beautiful, but as easy as possible to work with while
creating your ideal décor!
Our favorite ornament décor ideas are the ‘way outside
the box’ ideas that create stunning pieces NOT Christmas related! For instance, how about a flag made from
ornaments to commemorate Memorial Day?
By simply securing red, white, and blue ornaments in a flag pattern to
plywood or canvas, you can create an incredible piece to honor our fallen
heros! You could go bigger…using 250mm
ornaments, you could create the same flag pattern in your front yard by
stuffing the wires into the ground. If
that’s too festive for you, simply use the red, white, and blue ornaments and
secure them to a foam wreath from your local craft store. Add a ribbon and hang on your door. This still matches the theme, but the concept
is much easier to wrap your head around.
Of course, you can always use the old ornament centerpiece idea from previous blogs(DIY-Decorating). Those can be used as much more than centerpieces. You can place a small one in the restroom, one on the mantle, one on the entryway table, the options are endless. If that’s too much to handle, simply lay some ornaments out in the center of the dining room table, toss in a small accent here and there to match the season (pine cones, baby’s breath, flower pedals, etc). This is a quick, easy way to spruce up the table, mantle, or entry table if guests are coming and you’re running out of time.
Although the bulk ornaments have wires for easy
attachment, those remove easily, so the possibilities with them are really
